We engineered and built a fully automated Assembly and Test Machine that integrates robotics, advanced vision, leak testing, and precision part handling, all while achieving a sub 8 second cycle time. This turnkey solution eliminated manual operations, reduced defects, and met the customer’s demanding cycle time of under 8 seconds per part. With built in flexibility, precision labeling, and automated material handling, the machine delivered a significant boost in efficiency, consistency, and process traceability. We provided a machine with a lot of operations designed into a very small package. The system consisted of a custom test-tube feeder, pad printer, powder feeder with precise volume and weight check via a precision scale and then a robotic transfer system to place the finished product into a grid pattern on a pallet. The system was able to process large volumes of test tube assemblies with no operator involvement.

We provided a complete palletized assembly line for 13 unique part types. The line consisted of 23 stations of which 18 were automatic. There were 5 vibratory feed systems supplying robotic pick and places, grease stations, multiple riveting stations, and a functional test station with load-cells and vision. All acceptable parts were laser etched and robotic unloaded to pack out.

We recently completed a servo press robot integration project designed to automate a high-precision forming process. The system features a 6-axis industrial robot programmed to load and unload parts into a servo-driven press, ensuring repeatable accuracy, synchronized timing, and minimal cycle times. Vision sensors verify part orientation and quality before pressing, while safety interlocks and guarding systems ensure operator protection and compliance with industry standards. The turnkey solution not only increased throughput and consistency but also reduced labor requirements and improved overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
